John has spent his whole life on the water sailing barges, tugs & boats in the area between London Bridge to the Isle of Sheppey. John is a self taught local artist specialising in recording his detailed memories of the rivers and waterways around North Kent and the Thames river & estuary. His paintings range from the sailing river barges to admiralty ships, tugs & barges.
